6-30-25   THOUGHTS

Our recognition of our place in God through Christ Jesus is life-giving.  Rom 2:4   Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?   We must think seriously about God’s goodness toward us!  It is so easy to take things for granted!  We are adopted children!  Praise the Lord!  This is with PROMISE!  The end of verse 2 says... “we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.”  Our HOPE must be “fixed on Him [Christ].”  

1John 3:1-3    See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not   know Him.  2  Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 3  And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Ps 143:10   Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Col 1:10   so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please [Him] in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

A Prayer:
Teach us to do Your will,  for You are our God.  May Your good Spirit lead us to Your promises!  Keep us from thinking lightly of anything that relates to You, O God.  Help us to fully and clearly see the place you have purchased for us.  Inspire a powerful zeal within us to love and serve with joy.  May we be fruitful in the Kingdom.  Thank You, Father God, for blessing us so wonderfully.  In Jesus name,    Amen.
